United is monitoring news from public health agencies and is ready to respond as needed. As always, we are taking all the necessary steps to ensure the health and safety of our members and employees and are dedicated to keeping branch locations and remote banking systems open to serve you.

Special Financial Offers

Many school districts, restaurants, and businesses have needed to suspend service or close due to recommendations or orders from state government officials.

We appreciate the caution that the local jurisdictions are practicing to protect the communities, but also understand that these decisions may have a financial impact on you or your family.

Beginning March 18, 2020, to help lessen the financial burden, United is implementing the following programs for all Members:

  • No fees and increased eligibility for using Skip-a-Pay option1 on:
    • Installment Loans
    • Home Equity Loans and Lines of Credit
    • Credit Cards
  • Mortgage payment flexibility options
  • 90-day payment deferment on United education loans2
  • No early penalty withdrawal fee for CDs (no withdrawal limit)3
  • No $15 fee to pay a loan by phone
  • Financial assistance for unique Member or Business needed by calling (888) 982-1400 or by making a branch appointment

Branch Adjustments

United is temporarily adjusting branch access at all locations. Drive-thru lanes and ATMs will be the primary method for transactions to be consistent with guidance and best practices issued by the respective States’ local governments. Shared Branch Servicing will be suspended during this time.

Lobbies will be available by appointment only for Member needs that cannot be completed through the drive-thru. In addition, you are now able to request a phone call when you make an appointment. For general questions, no appointment is needed. So don’t hesitate to pick up the phone and call us anytime during business hours.

In addition to drive-thru and ATM service, there are a number of ways to continue to do business with United during the temporary lobby closure. Online and Mobile Banking are easy, secure ways to check your balance, pay loans, transfer funds, and even deposit checks via Mobile Check Deposit.
