Asheville, North Carolina –United Federal Credit Union (United) is excited to welcome back Karen Plemmons to the position of Mortgage Advisor at its Asheville branch located at 1441 Patton Avenue.
In her role, Plemmons will help generate product awareness to credit union members regarding their real estate financing needs and generate investment quality mortgage loans. She will use her knowledge in the industry to provide a quality real estate lending experience through personal financial counseling.
Plemmons has more than 20 years of mortgage lending experience as a Loan Officer and a Home Mortgage Consultant. She returns to United where she served as a Mortgage Advisor from 2017-2019.
Plemmons studied business at Asheville–Buncombe Technical Community College.
She is the founder of AGL Missions serving the Asheville area and the Appalachian Coal regions. Plemmons and her husband Phillip own a small aircraft and use it to transport individuals who are in need of medical care.
