“I am truly honored to be recognized as one of Carson City's Women of Distinction alongside these inspirational and influential women,” said Sweeting. “This accolade reflects my love for helping, connecting, and building relationships within our community. I am thrilled to receive this meaningful award, and I am thankful for my mentors, fearless leaders, family, and teachers who have supported my journey and been instrumental in helping me reach this milestone.”

The Chamber’s Executive Director, Ronni Hannaman, said there are several reasons why Brook made this year’s list.

“Brook was selected by the Chamber Board of Directors for her commitment to our community through her volunteer work and has shown that she is one of the “women to be watched” as she continues her involvement in our community serving on various high-profile boards and chairing fund-raising events,” said Hannaman.

“Brook has continued to show her commitment to United and our local communities with her passion for making a positive impact in the lives of others,” said Meredith Williams, United’s Nevada Regional Vice President. “I am incredibly proud of her achievement and recognition for the work she does.”
