MISHAWAKA, Ind. – United Federal Credit Union (United) has finalized plans to build its newest branch in Mishawaka, Indiana. The project is the continuation of an expansion in Michiana.

The plan, approved December 14, includes construction of the Bremen Highway branch, at the corner of Bremen Highway and Meijer Drive.

“This is another day for us to be proud of,” said United President/CEO Terry O’Rourke. “It’s not just about building branches; it’s also about building lasting partnerships. We’re excited to find new ways to make a positive difference in the lives of the people who live here in Mishawaka.”

United opened its Ireland Road and Edison Lakes branches in August, the first branches built in Michiana. In October, United also broke ground on a new branch located at the corner of Toscana Park Boulevard and Gumwood Road in Granger, Indiana.

The new Bremen Highway branch will offer a full complement of services including loans, mortgages, checking accounts, debit and credit cards, investment planning and business lending.

The Redmond Company of Waukesha, Wisconsin, will manage the construction project.
