BENTON HARBOR, Mich. – United Federal Credit Union (United) has appointed Michael Fernandez as branch manager of its Benton Harbor branch, located at 724 E. Napier in Benton Harbor, Michigan.
As branch manager, Fernandez will be responsible for maintaining the performance of the branch, selling products and services and providing leadership and supervision to staff.
Fernandez brings more than five years of experience providing leadership and management of diverse cross-functional teams, including serving as Customer Relations Supervisor with Whirlpool Corporation from 2014 to 2018. More recently, Fernandez has acted as Manager, Member Service Center for United Federal Credit Union in which he spearheaded complex negotiations and problem resolution to ensure member satisfaction and loyalty.
Fernandez attended Lake Michigan College and has a passion for mentoring and supporting those around him.
