FORT SMITH, Ark. – United Federal Credit Union (United) has appointed Eric Riggs as Commercial Loan Officer in in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
As the Commercial Loan Officer, Riggs is responsible for providing quality business lending expertise through financial counseling and product awareness to Credit Union members regarding their business financing needs and generates investment quality business loans by taking loan applications in support of loan growth objectives.
Riggs brings over ten years of banking experience to his new role. Prior, he was Market President at Armstrong Bank in Sallisaw, Oklahoma since 2012. He has also held titles including Community Lender and Business Development Manager at other organizations over the past 14 years in Oklahoma.
Riggs earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and is involved in several community organizations like being on the board of the Fort Smith Riverfront Blues Society and the Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce.
