NILES, Mich. – United Federal Credit Union (United) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jose Ontiveros as a new commercial loan officer for United at their Niles South branch in Niles, Michigan.
As a commercial loan officer, Ontiveros will be responsible for providing financial counseling through interviewing and pre-qualifying, as well as the business loan application process. He will focus on making sure members get the most from their deposits, while working with local branch teams to open accounts and secure funding for business members.
Ontiveros has over nine years of financial services experience. He was previously employed with United as a member service advisor and an assistant branch manager. Additionally, he has served as market manager at Honor Credit Union since 2017.
Ontiveros has earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a human resources certificate from Ferris State University and is currently working on a master’s degree in business administration from Bethel College.
