MISHAWAKA, Ind. – United Federal Credit Union (United) has appointed Carla McFarland to the position of Mortgage Advisor at the Edison Lakes branch in Mishawaka, Indiana.
McFarland will use her expertise to provide quality real estate lending expertise through financial counseling and product awareness to credit union members regarding their real estate financing needs and generate investment quality mortgage loans.
McFarland brings over 19 years of experience in various roles that blend successful mortgage lending experience, customer service, and insurance licensure—creating a powerful foundation with which to fortify her new role. Most recently, McFarland worked as a Personal Lines Agent for the Mortgage Department across 15 branches at TCU Insurance Agency LLC.
McFarland attended Ivy Tech Community College in South Bend, Indiana and Lake Michigan College in Benton Harbor, Michigan.
McFarland is also an active community member, providing volunteer time serving various organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Women’s Council of Realtors, and Granger Business Association.
