United Breaks Ground on Granger Indiana Branch

ST. JOSEPH, Mich. – United Federal Credit Union (United) has broken ground on its newest branch in Granger, Indiana. The project is the continuation of an expansion in Michiana that will eventually include six branches in St. Joseph County.

The groundbreaking ceremony celebrated the construction of the Toscana Park branch, located at the Northeast corner of Gumwood Road and Toscana Boulevard in Granger. Speakers included United’s President/CEO Terry O’Rourke, City of Mishawaka Mayor, Dave Wood, President/CEO South Bend Regional Chamber of commerce Jeff Rea, and Executive Director South Bend Venues Parks and Arts, Aaron Perri.

“At United, we work hard to put our values into action,” said United President/CEO Terry O’Rourke. “We believe our work enriches the lives of the people in this community and helps bring their dreams to life. We are proud to be growing so we can bring our mission to more people and more families in Granger.”

United opened its Ireland Road and Edison Lakes branches in August, the first branches to be built in Michiana.

The new Toscana Park branch will offer a full complement of services including loans, mortgages, checking accounts, debit and credit cards, investment planning and business lending.

The Redmond Company of Waukesha, Wisconsin, will manage the construction project.
