RENO, Nev. – Brandi Ward, Senior Market Development Manager at United Federal Credit Union (United), was recognized as a 2026 Woman of Achievement by Girls on the Run Sierras during the Nevada Women’s Fund Salute to Women of Achievement Luncheon, held May 21, 2026.

The Salute to Women of Achievement is a signature event hosted by Nevada Women’s Fund that celebrates women across the region for their dedication, leadership, and meaningful contributions to their workplaces, families, and communities.
Ward has served as Board Chair for Girls on the Run Sierras and has contributed more than seven years to the organization as both a board member and coach. Through her involvement, she has supported programs that promote confidence, character development, and overall well-being for young girls.
“Brandi has been an incredible leader, advocate, and champion for Girls on the Run. Her commitment to our mission goes far beyond her role as Board Chair,” emphasized Joy Heuer, Executive Director of Girls on the Run Sierras. “Brandi shows up with genuine passion, energy, and heart, always focused on creating opportunities that help girls build confidence and believe in themselves. We are deeply grateful for her years of service and the meaningful impact she continues to make in the lives of so many young girls and families in our community. Myself and the Girls on the Run board of directors are thrilled to be celebrating and honoring Brandi.”
In her role at United, Ward focuses on building strong community relationships and advancing initiatives that create lasting, positive impact. Her leadership reflects United’s ongoing commitment to supporting the communities it serves.
