ALLENTOWN, Penn. – United Federal Credit Union (United) and the Lehigh Valley IronPigs partnered during the 2026 season to make every stolen base count through the inaugural Bases of Hope campaign, benefiting the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley (PCFLV).

As part of the new partnership, United pledged to donate $20 for every stolen base recorded by the IronPigs throughout the season, transforming exciting moments on the field into meaningful support for local children and families impacted by cancer. The IronPigs finished the season with 115 stolen bases, generating $2,300 for the campaign. United increased its contribution by rounding up the total donation to $3,000.
Funds raised through Bases of Hope will support the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley's mission to improve the quality of life of children with cancer and their families. Through financial assistance, educational support, and family-centered programs, PCFLV helps ease the burden faced by families navigating pediatric cancer treatment.

The Bases of Hope campaign reflects the shared commitment of United and the IronPigs to creating positive change off the field while engaging fans in a meaningful community initiative. Every stolen base throughout the season represented another step toward providing hope and support to local families facing one of life's most difficult challenges.
