commercial loan officers

As the Regional Commercial Sales Manager, Michael leads a team of Business and Commercial Loan Officers, driving growth and success for the United’s commercial lending division. Working closely with the Commercial Loan Department Head, he ensures annual goals and long-term strategies are met.

Michael brings nearly two decades of experience in business banking to his role. Prior to coming to United, he was Vice President, Senior Commercial Relationship Manager with a bank in the Asheville area. In addition to a bachelor’s degree from Stetson University, he has an MBA and completed the Senior Leadership Development Institute with the North Carolina Bankers Association.

Michael is active in the Asheville community. He serves on the Board of Directors for A.B. Tech Foundation, All Souls Counseling Center, and chairs the board for the Wortham Center for the Performing Arts. He’s previously served on boards for the United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County, Asheville Symphony and Homeward Bound.
