“We’re thrilled to expand United’s presence into the Kalamazoo area,” said Jeffery Potter, United Mortgage Production Manager. “Having Holly lead this new market is a huge win for United and the community. She is a top-performing mortgage lender with deep roots in Kalamazoo, and her experience and dedication will be instrumental in helping local families achieve their homeownership dreams”.
This expansion marks the sixth county in Michigan where United offers mortgage assistance: Berrien, Calhoun, Kalamazoo, Kent, Ottawa, and Grand Traverse. United also has full-service branch locations throughout West and Southwest Michigan.
Babb joins United having spent her entire career in Kalamazoo County. She has more than 20 years of mortgage lending and customer service experience. She spent the last decade as a Mortgage Loan Originator at a credit union helping Kalamazoo-area residents.
In her new role, Babb will generate product awareness to credit union members regarding their real estate financing needs and generate investment quality mortgage loans. She will use her knowledge in the industry to provide quality real estate lending experience through personal financial counseling.
Babb is a Michigan native, growing up in Mattawan and uniquely understands the Kalamazoo County market. She has been named as a Top 100 Volume Mortgage Producer through National Association of Minority Mortgage Bankers of America (NAMMBA) and is involved in the Greater Kalamazoo Association of Realtors and the Southwest Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors.
