SOUTH BEND, Ind. – United Federal Credit Union (United) has appointed Jennifer Castaneda as Branch Manager of its Ireland Road branch in South Bend, Indiana, located at 223 West Ireland Road.
As branch manager, Castaneda will be responsible for maintaining the performance of the branch, selling products and services, and providing leadership and supervision to staff.
Castaneda’s career in the financial industry spans over 20 continuous years with credit unions and banks, consistently working her way to the next level through various roles and responsibilities that position her for great success as a branch manager with keen insights and leadership. Castaneda has been actively involved in community service throughout the South Bend area, including the Business Women’s Council, Greater Elkhart Young Professionals, Elkhart Noon Kiwanis Club, and as Financial Counseling Advisor for the Salvation Army’s Christmas Assistance Program.
Prior to her new role, Castaneda served as InSight Office Manager at a Midwest banking institution with over 81 branches. She holds a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Indiana University South Bend. More recently, she has earned a degree in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Tech.
