United Federal Credit Union Names New Mortgage Advisor in Berrien Springs Branch

Berrien Springs, Michigan–United Federal Credit Union (United) has appointed Stephanie Martinek to the position of Mortgage Advisor at its Berrien Springs branch located at 9097 US Highway 31.

As Mortgage Advisor, Martinek is responsible for generating product awareness to credit union members regarding their real estate financing needs and generating investment quality mortgage loans. She will use her knowledge in the industry to provide a quality real estate lending experience through personal financial counseling.

Martinek has ten years of experience in the credit union industry, starting out as a Member Service Advisor at United in 2010. She has worked in real estate since 2012, serving as a Real Estate and Home Equity Specialist, as well as a Mortgage Loan Originator at Honor Credit Union. During her time in those roles, Martinek was responsible for helping members with the application process and getting them the best loan for their situation.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in English with minors in business, psychology, and sociology from Western Michigan University as well as an associate’s degree from Lake Michigan College. In the community, Martinek is involved in the Steelhead Ironman Triathlon and is a voting member of Berrien County Youth Fair.
