United Named “Best Credit Union” in Northern Nevada

Press Release: Best Credit Union in Nevada

Reno, Nevada – United Federal Credit Union (United) is honored to be named “Best Credit Union” by Northern Nevada Business Weekly. United also won second place for “Most Philanthropic Company (Community Give-Back)” by the publication.

“We are passionate about serving our Members and community in good times and especially during difficult times,” said Meredith Williams, Regional Vice President. “It is truly incredible and inspiring to be recognized in these categories. Our team is proud to have earned “#1 Credit Union” and to have the opportunity to support Northern Nevada in any way we can.”

Every year, Northern Nevada Business Weekly allows the community to submit nominations for its annual “Best in Business” awards. The top 10 are then selected and voted on by the community to determine the winners. This is the first-year United won “Best Credit Union” and made it to the top three for “Most Philanthropic Company”.

United has proudly served northern Nevada since 2009, operating 10 branches in Carson City, Reno, and Sparks.
