United Appoints Mortgage Advisors in Las Vegas Area

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – United Federal Credit Union (United) has appointed three mortgage advisors to serve the Las Vegas area. The mortgage team will help members find the best option to finance their homes as well as assist with virtual account access through United’s online and mobile banking services.
“Our new mortgage team is extremely experienced and are ready to start helping new members finance the home of their dreams,” said Al Iftiger, Director of Mortgage Production in Nevada. “We’ve had great success in the last 13 years here in Nevada, and we are excited to continue growing. The Las Vegas market has so much potential, and we are ready for the chance to bring United’s team, exceptional service, and products to this new area.”
Philip LaBar
LaBar is a Henderson, Nevada native and brings more than two years of mortgage experience in the Las Vegas area to his new role. He has a passion for providing quality real estate lending advice through financial counseling and product awareness to credit union members.
Esther Powers
Powers brings 25 years of mortgage industry experience in a variety of real estate markets to her role. While growing primary homeownership locally is a top focus for Esther, she’s excited to be able to use her expertise to guide members in the direction of their real estate goals of all sorts under the United FCU umbrella. As an active member of the Las Vegas Chapter of VAREP and other local organizations, she’ll be found participating in and supporting a variety of local events and volunteer efforts aimed at improving the community.
Jon Reineberg
Reineberg has 30 years of mortgage and customer service experience in the Las Vegas area and is familiar with the opportunities and challenges of the local housing market. He will use his extensive local industry knowledge to help people find the right mortgage option for their new home, and give step-by-step guidance throughout the entire process.
United plans to open a Mortgage Loan Office in Henderson in September and one in Summerlin by the end of 2022.
United has been in the Nevada market since 2009. It currently has branches in northwest Nevada in Reno, Sparks, and Carson City, as well as a loan production office in Fernley.
