As the Commercial Loan Officer, Shelley is responsible for providing quality business lending expertise through financial counseling and product awareness to credit union members regarding their business financing needs and generates investment quality business loans by taking loan applications in support of loan growth objectives.
Shelley brings more than 21 years of financial and banking experience to her role. Prior to joining United, she was Vice President Commercial Banker at Northwest Bank where she managed a large commercial portfolio. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Human Resources from Indiana Tech University.
Shelley lives the credit union philosophy of ‘people helping people’ not only through member service, but also community involvement. Currently she is on the board of directors for El Campito. She is also an advocate for United’s community impact efforts supporting organizations such as the United Way of St. Joseph County, the Boys & Girls Club of St. Joseph County and other local non-profit groups.
