The purpose of the United Federal Credit Union Scholarship program is to recognize academic excellence and community support provided by our young Members. Recognizing that these individuals are the key to our future, the leadership of the credit union has established this scholarship program to demonstrate their belief in our young people’s potential. We believe that, just as we honor the legacy of our past, we also have a responsibility to invest in our future.
United Federal Credit Union will award scholarships to high school seniors who demonstrate community service and academic achievement. Six scholarships will be granted in the amount of $1,000 each.* Applicants must:

Applications must be submitted to a local branch by 5PM local time or postmarked by March 31, 2018.
The primary focus of the UFCU Scholarship is an applicant’s academic achievement and service to community. The applicants will be scored as follows:
Regional Awards*: The individual with the highest score in each state UFCU has a branch will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
Each scholarship winner must begin studies within one year of notification and agree to allow United Federal Credit Union to use his/her name and photograph in promotional materials and press releases.
The applications selected for scholarship awards are the sole decision of United Federal Credit Union and its designated judges. All decisions final.
*Members will be placed in the region their account is assigned. If you live outside of your assigned region, you will be placed in the region closest to you. If there are no applicants who meet the minimum requirements within a region, no award will be given. Employees of United Federal Credit Union, its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising/promotional agencies and board members, and the immediate families and household members of all such persons are not eligible.
